Race Passives After the Rebirth Reset

Race is a permanent roll in Rogue Piece Rebirth — unlike Devil Fruits, you cannot swap it without spending Gems or reroll tokens from codes. Each Race adds passive combat bonuses that multiply with Haki, sword mastery, and Traits. Post-Rebirth, Demon Race and Cursed Spirit Race pulled ahead of legacy picks because flat damage and stacking debuffs scale through Thragg and Yhwach fights.

S-Tier — Demon Race (25% Power)

Demon Race grants a flat 25% Power passive that applies to virtually every damage source — sword combos, fruit skills, and spec bursts. No conditional trigger means it is always active, making Demon the safest S-tier reroll target for new accounts after Rebirth.

The passive shines in boss DPS checks where every percentage counts. Pair Demon with Haki and an A-tier or S-tier fruit for the fastest mid-to-late game progression without Robux. PvP players also benefit because Power scaling affects burst combos from Jin Mori and Anti-Magic Sword setups.

A-Tier — Cursed Spirit Race (Stacking)

Cursed Spirit Race applies stacking curse damage that grows during extended fights. Against high-HP targets like Thragg, Yhwach, and Glacier world bosses, each stack adds meaningful DPS that plain Power passives cannot match over five-plus minute windows.

The tradeoff is slower burst in short PvP duels. Cursed Spirit excels in PvE mains who farm tickets and Fragments of Rogue daily. Combine with Gravity Fruit or Quake Fruit to keep enemies grouped while stacks accumulate.

B-Tier — Fishman, Mink, Human

Fishman Race offers water-zone bonuses that matter less after Rebirth island rebalancing — still useful for early Whispering Jungle but overtaken by Demon once you reach Sandora.

Mink Race provides speed and dodge utility for PvP skirmishes; competitive players eventually reroll to Demon or Cursed Spirit for raw scaling. Human Race is the default roll with no standout passive — reroll immediately if you have codes or Gems to spare.

Race Reroll Priority

Lock Demon Race first unless you already run a dedicated Cursed Spirit PvE build. Save Race reroll tokens from BrightFutureAhead! and ReturnOfTheStrongest for batch attempts rather than one-off Gem purchases. Race does not affect quest dialogue or island access, so purely cosmetic races are never worth keeping over combat tiers.
